.nz Domains
Domains cannot be transferred until after 5 days has passed since registration.
The first thing you need to do is obtain your Domain name's UDAI.
The UDAI stands for Unique Domain Authentication Identifier, and is the Domain's key which allows you to move the Domain between registrars.
Most registrars will have an automated way of generating the UDAI from your account page, but you may have to request them to do it for you.
UDAIs can only be emailed to the Name Holder email, so you'll need to check your details are up-to-date.
Your current registrar is obliged to make it available to you promptly upon request, so do not accept any excuses or delays.
Once you have obtained your UDAI you can request to transfer the Domain to OrangeHost from our website.
Transferring Domain names to OrangeHost is a free service, and your Domain's renewal date remains unchanged, so you will not need to make a payment to us until the renewal date approaches.
Transfers between registrars are immediate, but if you have moved the hosting of the Domain (change of nameservers) it can take up to a day to see the changes.
.com/net/org/biz/info/tv Domains
Domains cannot be transferred until after 60 days has passed since registration.
The Domain must first be unlocked with its current registrar. Unlocking the Domain allows transfer requests to be initiated, and if it is not unlocked the request will fail, causing unnecessary delays to the transfer process.
.org/biz/info Domains require an authentication code to transfer, which can be obtained from the current registrar.
A transfer request can then be initiated through our website. Our system will ask you to renew the Domain for further 12 months which adds to the Domain's current renewal date.
Upon successfully initiating the transfer request an email will be sent to the Domain's administrative contact email address for authentication. The email contains a link which the recipient must visit to authenticate the request. If the email address is invalid, or the link isn't followed the request will expire after several days. The request can also be denied by the recipient.
The whole transfer process usually takes up to a week.
If your transfer request is rejected we can refund your payment, or you can submit another request (once whatever action is taken to resolve the problem that caused rejection).
